Backed by five home runs, L.A. Dodgers pitcher Park Chan-Ho scored his second win of the season Sunday in a 10-4 rout over the San Francisco Giants at Dodgers` Stadium.
In his second start of the year, Park had serious control problems but still managed to chalk up a win on the strength of the powerful hitting of his teammates.
Park allowed five hits and four earned runs, including a two-run homer in the top of the second inning, and also issued four walks. But Dodgers batters had already scored eight runs on the five homers by the bottom of the fourth inning, enabling Park to get his second win with ease. The Dodgers added two more runs in the sixth.
Park ended a streak of 33 shutout innings, which began last year, when he allowed his first two runs in the second.
