South and North Korea have exchanged a number of drafts of a peace declaration they plan to issue when North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il pays his planned visit to Seoul in May, Japan`s Yomiuri Shimbun reported Tuesday, quoting a government source here.
The draft declaration commits the two parties to nonaggression, puts into force the now dormant basic inter-Korean accord of 1992, and is likely to call for measures to reduce conventional forces, the report said.
