Samsung racks up all-time high 34 wins in pro basketball

Samsung Thunders entered the Korean pro basketball record book Tuesday, chalking up its 34th victory to end the winningest season in league history.

In its last match of the regular season on its home court in Suwon, Samsung routed its long-time rival the Hyundai Gullivers 94-79 to post an overall record of 34 wins and 11 losses.

With the conclusion of the four-month-long regular schedule, the league playoffs begin on Saturday with a match up between fourth-place SBS and fifth-place Shinsegi. On Thursday, awards will be given to the regular season MVP and other top players.
