No human made cow disease here

Although public anxiety is spreading about made cow disease, no patients have been reported in the country until now, the National Institute of Health (NIH) said Thursday.

¡°A total of 27 people suspected as patients of Creutzfeldt-Jacob disease (CJD) were found until early this year since 1997, but there was no one suffering from variant CJD (vCJD), known as the human-variant mad cow disease,¡± Lee Jong-Ku, chief of Infectious Disease Control Division of NIH, said.
