[From readers] Highway signs need correction

Some time ago, traffic was jammed when I traveled to Mount Naejang through Honam Express Highway. However, the electronic board on the road didn't provide enough information about the situation on the highway.

Many drivers had to wait on the road without any accurate information about what had happened. Also, there was no information about detour roads. It was same on our way via Taejon. The mileposts on the road from Chong-eup, North Cholla Province, to Taejon via Nonsan were incorrect, and we had to struggle to find the right road.

We thought that we were traveling to Honam Express Highway interchange through No. 1 route, but we were returning to Chong-eup. The signs near the interchanges were not correctly marked, so we took the wrong way. We hope that the relevant authorities would pay closer attention to management of the roads.
