The younger members of the National Assembly, also known as the "386"- generation lawmakers, (equivalent to the last of the baby boomers), including Reps. Kim Sung-Ho, Im Jong-Suk and Chang Sung-Min, paid a visit to Kim Jung-Ho, who is awaiting a trip to the North to meet with his 50-year old son for the first time in fifty years in the August 15 reunion of separated families.
The lawmakers presented him with a gift package containing a gold ring, a watch and some underwear, and expressed their hopes that he would return in good health. Kim Jung-Ho could not hold back tears as he spoke of how he would tell his son about his wife, who passed away earlier.
