Samsung Electronics’ next generation video standard size technology HDR10+ is expanding its influence all over the world.

Samsung Electronics informed that HDR10+ premium video streaming content on Amazon has been increased from 100 to 1000. HDR10+ gives video a three-dimensional effect by optimizing contrast range which makes bright images brighter and dark images darker. Samsung introduced HDR10+ to Amazon’s streaming receiver Fire Stick 4K launched in October. Warner Bros. has produced more than 70 HDR10+ content so far.

European content provider "Rakuten" and "Megogo" are planning to provide HDR10+ services in early half of next year. The Russian OTT platform "ivi" also started to provide HDR10+ films for the first time in Russia.

Samsung Electronics set up an HDR10+ verification center in Korea, the U.S. and Japan this year. It plans to expand verification centers to China soon to actively support TV manufacturers and content providers to participate in HDR10+ verification programs.
