LG Electronics on Wednesday unveiled the 77-inch model of the LG Signature W organic light-emitting diode (OLED) TV with a price tag of 33 million won (29,451 U.S. dollars), more than double the price of the 65-inch version released in February.

LG’s flagship TV is extremely thin at less than 6 millimeters. The TV received the top prize at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show held in January in the United States. Such thinness was achieved as components other than the screen, including speakers, are accommodated separately.

LG plans to release the 77-inch model gradually in other countries around the world to further strengthen its status in the premium TV market. Due to brisk sales of LG’s OLED TV, the company’s home electronics unit posted an operating profit ratio of 8.8 percent for the first three months of this year, the highest first-quarter performance ever.

LG offers a 4 million won (3,570 dollars) cashback to customers purchasing the 77-inch model by June 29, bringing down the actual price. The company also offers its Tromm Styler clothing care system.
