The United States has issued an order grounding all Boeing 737 Max planes in the wake of two crashes in the recent four months.

“The safety of the American people and all people is our paramount concern,” announced U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday (local time) at the White House. “The Boeing jets would be grounded effective immediately.” He also added that the U.S. will issue an emergency order grounding the Boeing 737 Max 8 and Max 9, and relevant aircrafts.

As such, all 737 Max jets that have safety issues will not be seen in the world’s sky until an investigation result on the accident is presented. Until now, 371 planes of the 737 Max 8, introduced in 2017, had been operated across some 40 countries. Previously, the Canadian airplane authority also announced that it prohibits the take-off and landing of the 737 Max 8 and 737 Max 9, not to mention passing its aerial domain. Even Canada and the U.S., which were holding as much as it can, have participated in grounding the 737 Max planes, following some 40 countries including China and the EU ordering the suspension of its flight.
