Portrait of Kim Jong Il Disappears from Geumgangsan Village

On November 20, a huge portrait of Marshall Kim Il Sung is hanging alone in Onjung-ri, Gosung-gun, North Korea, near Mt. Geumgang. It drew attention because North Korean tour guides stated that National Defense Committee Chairman Kim Jong Il’s portrait was removed recently which had been hung together with Kim Il Sung’s portrait.
